This Clinical Disclaimer explains the limits of the OGA Careplatform (the “Services”) as it relates to medical care. OGA Care is an administrative and workflow platform for healthcare organisations. It is not a healthcare provider and does not practise medicine. Read this together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, stop and call your local emergency number immediately (in India, dial 112 or 108 for an ambulance). Do not use OGA Care to request urgent or emergency care.
1. The Platform Is Not Emergency Medical Care
OGA Care is not designed or intended for medical emergencies. The Services are not monitored in real time for urgent clinical needs and must never be relied upon to obtain emergency assistance. If you believe you or another person may have a medical emergency, contact emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department.
2. No Doctor–Patient Relationship
Using the Services does not, by itself, create a doctor–patient relationship between you and OGA Care or any clinician. A clinical relationship exists only when a qualified healthcare professional explicitly establishes one with a patient through an appropriate consultation, in accordance with applicable medical-council standards (including, in India, the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines). OGA Care merely provides the tools that healthcare organisations use to manage such relationships.
3. Telemedicine Limitations
Where clinicians use the Services to support remote or telemedicine consultations, those consultations have inherent limitations. A remote interaction may not allow a complete physical examination, may depend on the accuracy of information provided by the patient, and may be affected by connectivity or device constraints. The treating clinician is solely responsible for determining whether telemedicine is clinically appropriate and for complying with all applicable telemedicine regulations.
4. User Responsibility
- Patients are responsible for providing accurate, complete information to their clinicians and for seeking in-person care when appropriate.
- Clinicians and healthcare organisations are solely responsible for all clinical judgement, diagnosis, treatment, and prescribing decisions. OGA Care does not review, validate, or override clinical decisions.
- Nothing displayed within the Services constitutes medical advice from OGA Care.
5. Prescription Limitations
Any prescription generated through the Services is created by the treating clinician on their own professional authority and responsibility. OGA Care does not prescribe, dispense, or verify medicines, and does not assess the appropriateness, dosage, or interactions of any prescribed treatment. Prescribing must comply with applicable laws and professional standards, including restrictions on prescribing certain categories of medicines via telemedicine.
6. Medical Accuracy Limitations
While we aim to keep the Services reliable, OGA Care does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any clinical content, calculation, template, or record displayed through the platform. Information may be entered by users and is presented as-is. Clinicians must independently verify any information before relying on it for patient care.
7. Emergency Escalation Guidance
- For a life-threatening emergency, call local emergency services (e.g. 112 / 108 in India).
- For urgent but non-emergency needs, contact your healthcare provider directly or visit an urgent-care facility.
- Do not wait for a response through the Services in any time-sensitive situation.
8. Contact
Questions about this disclaimer can be sent to support@ogacare.in. For clinical concerns, always contact your treating clinician or healthcare organisation directly.
AI Clinical Assistant
The optional AI Clinical Assistant is a documentation and drafting aid only. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or make clinical decisions, and its output must be independently verified by a qualified clinician before it is relied upon or added to the medical record. It processes only the de-identified clinical context the clinician supplies.
Note: AI analysis is performed without collecting or processing patient personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or other identifying details.
